Areas We Serve
Upper East Side
Straight down Lexington to Midtown East, or one crosstown bus to Broadway.
The Upper East Side runs from 59th Street up to 96th, between Fifth Avenue and the East River, taking in Lenox Hill, Carnegie Hill and Yorkville. Its hospitals, specialist practices and consulting rooms are concentrated within a few blocks of each other in the East 60s and 70s, which is why so many people already make regular appointments in this part of the city.
It is also the only neighbourhood in this list with a genuine choice of office. Lexington Avenue runs express and local trains straight down to Midtown East, and a single crosstown bus crosses Central Park to within a block of our Broadway office. Which one suits you usually depends on which side of the neighbourhood you start from.
We do not have an office on the Upper East Side. Midtown East Physical Therapy has two locations, both in Manhattan — 12 E. 46th Street, Suite 501, New York, NY 10017 and 1995 Broadway, Suite 801, New York, NY 10023 and 274 Madison Avenue, Suite 1001, New York, NY 10016 — and patients from the Upper East Side are seen at one of them.
Getting Here
Two routes, two offices
For the 46th Street office, take the Lexington Avenue line south. On the 6 local from 68 St–Hunter College the order is 59 St, then 51 St, then Grand Central–42 St — three stops — and from Grand Central it is a four-block walk north. The 4 and 5 express from 86 St run to 59 St and then Grand Central, which is the faster option from the top of the neighbourhood. On Second Avenue, the Q stops at 72 St, 86 St and 96 St and connects west to Lexington Avenue–63rd Street.
For the Broadway office, the M66 is a one-seat ride. The westbound route begins at 67th Street and York Avenue, runs west along 67th Street to Fifth, crosses Central Park on the 65th Street Transverse and continues west on 66th Street — putting you a block from 1995 Broadway without changing vehicles. Coming back, the eastbound M66 returns via 65th Street and the transverse, then east along 68th.
